Our first snowshoeing trip ever (Jan 12, 2008). We thought we'd make it to Lake Talapus, but only made it half way before turning around.
This is from a more recent trip we made earlier this year (Jan 17, 2009) to Snow Lake. The last time I did this hike it was with the scouts on the way up and with the rescue team on the way down. :) Fortunately, neither Julie or I suffered any sort of broken bone.
Shortly after the previous hike we determined to make it all the way to Lake Talapus. We were the only ones that we saw on the trail going up and down.
