Xmas Project

I decided to do something productive with my time over the holiday break by building a space-saving cabinet for our bathroom that will be placed over the toilet. It's still a work in progress, but I hope to have it done by next weekend. I spent Monday and Tuesday afternoon designing the cabinet in Blender 3D and came up with this:


Then I spent the next 4 afternoons cutting and assembling it. For our Christmas gift to ourselves this year we bought a camcorder. With the upcoming birth of our firstborn son we wanted to capture those family memories. Until then, I'm looking for excuses to use it so rather than just take a picture here's a brief video for posterity's sake.
